Reheating of Aggregates

Aggregates are heated less than one hour before the opening of the building site, to produce in the mixer concrete at a temperature of 30/35°C, even in cold weather.

Aggregates can be reheated in 2 ways:

Using special seam hoses inserted in the aggregate heap, or via perforated ramps on which the aggregates are placed.
Using perforated tubes if the aggregates are stored in a hopper. These tubes, located in the lower part of the hopper, ensure a perfectly homogeneous diffusion of the steam.

Thanks to CM REGERO Industries’s low-pressure steam generators, it is possible to produce hot concrete and operate the installation even with negative (in Celsius) outside temperatures.
